Footage revealing animal abuse in Ukraine’s National Circus — the spark that led to the creation of UAnimals.
UAnimals became a nationwide movement uniting thousands of people across Ukraine to protect animals.
I joined UAnimals in 2018 as a creative and graphic designer, sharing the organization’s vision to build a national animal welfare movement with a growing public presence. Together with the team, we worked to shift public perception and cultural attitudes through campaigns, city kits, and educational materials.
As the movement grew, the All-Ukrainian March for Animal Rights was born — the largest animal rights event in Eastern Europe, uniting over 30 cities under one message: "Protecting the weak is the duty of the strong". Hundreds of thousands of people across Ukraine joined the movement, united by one mission — to protect animals and promote humanity.
The Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition also joined the March for Animal Rights — showing that humanity has no borders.
In 2022, when russia launched full-scale invasion on Ukraine, we organized a march in Warsaw, Poland, to draw global attention to the war’s impact on animals and the environment — raising awareness and funds to address russia’s ecocide and the mass killing of wildlife in Ukraine.
